Big Mamma is a gang of around 2,000 merry souls hailing from all four corners of Italy and beyond who enjoy living it up at lunch- and dinner-time in eateries designed to be welcoming and slightly whacky. Fresh produce arrives every day from our long-time suppliers (Stefano Borchini, Lorenzo Bagatto, Salvatore Corso and all the other exceptional artisans who have worked alongside us since the beginning) for use in generous, authentic Italian recipes, passed down in our chefs’ families from one generation to the next. United in a single mission: to transport you to Italy and be the best part of your day. A special big-up to Peppe, our ringmaster, to Alberto, the artist of the kitchen, to Monia, a magician with all things sweet, and to Virginia, the high priestess of the cooking stove.
